• 8+ years experience interacting with customers
• 15+ years total experience in semiconductor or related role (FPGA/ASIC/SOC) preferred
• Knowledge of FPGA architecture and development methodology

The Product Planning runs certain strategic processes, visits customers, collaborates with Sales, the Business Management group, Architects and influences the organization via these processes. Activities include driving planning processes, competitive analysis, market analysis, and participating in strategic task forces. This specific role of Lead Product Planner will focus on leading planning activities for next generation device of product family**Key Responsibilities:*** Lead definition and planning activities for next generation Altera FPGA or product family* Own roadmap for one of the future devices or product families, including prioritization, customer validation and communication of the roadmap both within and outside of Altera* Lead cross functional team responsible for establishing and maintaining the Plan of Record for one of the future families.
