Job summary

Altera is seeking a Planner / Product Manager in San Jose to own PCIe, CXL, and DMA IP strategy for FPGA technology. You will analyze requirements across product roadmap, customer inputs, and engineering teams to define prioritized feature sets and drive delivery milestones.

The role requires a deep understanding of FPGA IP and experience shaping end-to-end IP solutions for data center and enterprise applications, with a track record in cross-functional leadership and market-oriented product

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in FPGA applications, IP, or related server, storage, data center and/or acceleration domains with PCIe, CXL, DMA knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Drive the definition, trade-off analysis, and convergence of next-generation hard and soft IP solutions for FPGA end markets.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders and customers to translate market requirements into the product roadmap.
• Generate specific product requirements for IP and maintain a detailed IP roadmap.
• Coordinate with peers to align interdependent programs and solutions.
• Manage input to engineering execution and change management processes.
