Job summary

Tarana Wireless Inc is seeking an Integration Test Engineer to advance hardware and FPGA testing, automation, and integration. The role focuses on building and maintaining test stations, running comprehensive test plans, and analyzing results in a hardware lab environment.

You will manage regressions, perform hardware bring-up, and collaborate with design teams to ensure release readiness while maintaining precise configurations and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• 1–3+ years of hardware testing/integration experience.
• Proficiency in Python for test automation, scripting, and debugging.
• Familiarity with Ansible or similar configuration-management tools.
• Knowledge of software versioning, part numbers, and revisions for test deployment.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in test planning, execution, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Implement and execute test plans based on design docs to validate new hardware and FPGA functionality.
• Operate in hardware lab environments and run tests in thermal chambers across wide temperature ranges.
• Manage regression testing and track issues to maintain product quality.
• Conduct hardware bring-up for new designs and troubleshoot early-stage hardware/software issues.
• Build, maintain, and manage test stations using automation tools like Ansible.
• Collaborate with design/development teams to understand requirements and review test results.
• Track and deploy software versions, part numbers, revisions, and test versions for accurate configurations.
• Maintain Python scripts for automating tests and analyzing results.
