Job summary

Epirus seeks an experienced FPGA design engineer to design, verify, and integrate state-of-the-art FPGA systems and embedded processing solutions for RF applications. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary engineering team to develop hardware for a rapid development environment.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer or Electrical engineering.
• 2+ years of technical experience.
• Experience with FPGA and embedded hardware designs.
• Understanding of SPI/I2C/UART.

Responsibilities

• Design and verification of RTL modules for FPGA applications
• Initial test and bring-up of custom FPGA circuit cards, including on-board peripherals such as memory, Ethernet, and sensors
• Automation of test environment (hardware-in-the-loop testing), lab equipment, and measurement devices
• Capturing design tradeoffs, state machine flow, system address maps, and block diagrams
