Job summary

Advanced Energy is seeking an FPGA Engineer in Redwood City, CA to design and modify RTL for FPGAs and collaborate with hardware and software teams. You will develop verification test benches for logic designs and apply DSP concepts to robust solutions. A B.S./M.S. in Electrical or Computer Engineering plus 1–5 years FPGA experience is required.

Work location is on site in Redwood City with a strong, comprehensive benefits package and a path to advanced projects in mission-critical systems.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years FPGA development experience.
• Experience with RTL design for FPGA
• Collaboration with HW/SW teams
• Lab and hardware debugging experience

Responsibilities

• Research, design, and development of logic designs in RTL for FPGAs.
• Develop verification test benches for logic design simulation.
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to define interfaces and performance.
• Support design reviews and hardware evaluations for mission-critical systems.
• Estimate and validate software effort alignment with program constraints.
