Job summary

RTX's Fort Wayne, IN site is seeking a FPGA/ASIC design engineer to contribute to production quality hardware. You will generate FPGA designs, code in VHDL, and document requirements, verification plans, and user guides.

This role involves full lifecycle support and collaboration with multi-discipline teams including suppliers. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related STEM field, with hands-on experience in VHDL/Verilog, Vivado/Quartus, and lab

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related STEM major.
• Experience with FPGA/ASIC design (VHDL and/or Verilog) or FPGA/ASIC verification (SystemVerilog).
• Experience with AMD (Xilinx), Altera and/or Microchip (Microsemi) devices and tools such as AMD Vivado, Altera Quartus Prime Pro or Libero.
• Hands-on experience with integration and debug of FPGA/ASIC in a lab environment.
• Experience with source code management, design reviews, and code release in a team development environment.

Responsibilities

• Work onsite at our Fort Wayne, IN Location.
• Provide Full Lifecycle support of production quality FPGA.
• Generate FPGA Designs.
• Design and Code in VHDL for reliability and maintainability.
• Create complete documentation including requirements, verification plan, and users guides.
• Interact with multi-discipline groups including suppliers.
