Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is hiring Firmware Engineers to support programs for the US military and international customers. You will create firmware for FPGAs, SOCs, and CPLDs and work on integration, test, and system qualification with IPTs.

The role involves HDL design, scripting for build and test, and laboratory verification in a DoD environment. Onsite position with security clearance requirements for U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience with C/C++, HLS, or UVM.
• Experience with programmable logic development tools (e.g. ISE, Vivado, Quartus II, Libero, Synplify).
• Linux scripting experience (bash shells, make files, Tcl, Python).

Responsabilités

• Generate firmware requirements based on the system architecture.
• Generate firmware documentation that describes the firmware architecture.
• Design HDL based digital circuits that are structured and readable.
• Build test benches to verify/test the HDL based design.
• Generate constraints for target device.
• Create scripts to automate build, integration, and test activities.
• Verify target device functionality in laboratory environment.
