SRC, Inc. is seeking an Embedded Design Engineer Intern for Spring 2027 in Syracuse, NY.

You will contribute to cutting-edge FPGA and embedded projects, learning from mentors and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on DSP, high-speed protocols, and hardware interfaces. Qualifications

• Two years of college completed toward a bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering.
• GPA 3.3 or higher and strong fundamentals in digital design.
• Familiarity with HDL, embedded processing, and scripting basics.

Responsibilities

• Implement FPGA solutions using VHDL/Verilog.
• Verify firmware via simulation and hardware testing to identify issues.
• Learn best practices in programmable logic design and development.
• Apply RTL design, verification, synthesis, prototyping, and timing analysis.
• Use Python/TCL to automate CI/CD for development workflows.
