Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Linthicum, MD, seeks a Manager Digital Engineering 2 to lead a team of 10–15 engineers across FPGA/digital design programs. You will oversee staffing, cost, schedule and technical quality, mentor staff, and drive FPGA technology development and new design processes. This role requires DoD clearance and strong leadership in a multi-program environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering (BSCE) or Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with 8 years of related experience, or Master’s with 6 years, or PhD with 4 years.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Must have a Current/Active DoD Secret Clearance and ability to obtain SAP.
• Must have 5 years experience in management or lead of employees and/or management of a project.
• Must have 8 years experience in Digital/FPGA Design process from requirements through verification.
• Must have 5 years experience in designing, leading and managing FPGA design projects.

• Staffing and workload forecasting; include mentoring and career development; recruiting and onboarding for contractors.
• Maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Build diverse, engaged teams with mentoring and coaching.
