Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking Principal or Sr. Principal Digital Engineer to lead FPGA design, verification, and firmware development within the SWDT Organization. You will work with modern digital development tools and Agile practices to deliver national defense capabilities.

The role requires a Secret Clearance, strong VHDL and FPGA tool experience, and a track record of independent, proactive work within a collaborative team. Relocation may be available and relocation assistance may apply.

Qualifications

• 5 years of related experience for Principal Digital Engineer.
• Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance and maintain it.

Responsibilities

• Design, verification, simulation and testing of FPGAs.
• Develop test plans and implement rigorous testing and validation processes for digital designs.
• Adhere to coding standards, revision control practices, and peer review procedures.
• Conduct tests using high-speed oscilloscopes, signal generators, and FPGA debugging tools.
