Job summary

A2e Technologies is seeking an FPGA Design and Verification Contractor to join our US-based remote team. The role focuses on designing complex FPGA-based digital systems, verifying them, and translating system requirements into implementable FPGA specifications.

You will work with ARM-based platforms, SystemVerilog, Python, and industry tools such as Questa and Vivado to deliver high-quality IP and verification strategies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of FPGA-based digital design experience.
• Experience with ARM-based systems and embedded processing.
• Knowledge of embedded protocols (I2C, QSPI, UART, PCIe).
• Familiar with BMC management protocols (IPMI, MCTP, PLDM, Redfish).

Responsibilities

• Develop FPGA designs from system specifications and translate requirements into FPGA implementations.
• Perform FPGA verification and documentation.
• Read schematics and apply verification methodologies.
• Create modular, reusable, synthesizable IP and verification IP.
• Support debug and defect resolution including root-cause analysis.
• Drive best practices for design quality and development processes.

Location: Remote/USA

Required:

• Candidates must be in US
• US Citizen or Green Card Holder

Responsibilities:

• 5+ years developing complex FPGA-based digital designs using SoCs with embedded processing, high-speed interfaces, and custom IP
• Perform FPGA verification and documentation
• Ability to read schematics and apply verification methodologies
• Translate system-level requirements into FPGA design specifications
• Write high-qualitySystemVerilogto meet performance, quality, and schedule targets
• Develop and execute test and verification strategies for FPGAdesigns.
• Drivebest practices for design quality, development processes, and continuous improvement
• Create modular, reusable, synthesizable and verification IP for current and future projects
• Support debug and defect resolution, including validation, logging, and root-cause analysis

Skills:

• Experience with ARM-based systems, build tools (make, git), and CI/CD
