Job summary

Actalent is seeking an FPGA Design/Verification Engineer for its R&D program in Owego, NY. The role focuses on ASIC & FPGA development, DSP, high-speed digital design, SOC on FPGA platforms, and cross-disciplinary collaboration across disciplines to drive design, simulation, verification, integration and testing of high-speed products.

The candidate will work in a contract-to-hire environment with a 4x10 schedule and onsite work.

Qualifications

  • Experience with FPGA design tools such as Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus, and Synopsys Synplify.
  • Proficient in SystemVerilog.
  • Proficiency with HDL simulators, waveform viewers, and coverage tools.
  • Familiarity with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test setups and test equipment like JTAG and logic analyzers.
  • Experience with version control systems and configuration management.

Job Title: FPGA Design/Verification EngineerJob Description

We are seeking a skilled FPGA Design/Verification Engineer to join our R&D program. The selected candidate will focus on ASIC & FPGA development, particularly in digital signal processing, high-speed digital design, high-speed communication, and system-on-chip (SOC) implementation on FPGA platforms. This role requires collaboration across disciplines to create cutting-edge products and will contribute significantly to the design, simulation, verification, integration, and testing of complex, high-speed products.

Responsibilities

Work Environment

The position offers a 4x10 schedule from Monday to Thursday. Candidates must be US citizens with the ability to obtain a security clearance. The role is exempt from hourly rates and is structured as a contract-to-hire opportunity.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Owego, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
