Job summary

Logiqal in Princeton, NJ is seeking an FPGA Engineer to design and implement low-latency control and signal processing for our quantum computers.

You will contribute from RTL through hardware-in-loop verification, optimize RTL and firmware for latency and timing, and collaborate with physicists and software engineers to deliver production-ready designs.

Prior experience with multi-clock-domain designs and Xilinx RFSoC platforms is valued; no quantum physics knowledge is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with digital logic design or verification for FPGAs/ASICs.
• High-throughput design across multiple clock domains is preferred.
• Familiarity with Xilinx RFSoC platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement low-latency control and signal processing for the quantum computer.
• Develop RTL and hardware-in-the-loop validation.
• Optimize RTL and PS firmware for latency, resources, and timing closure.
• Collaborate with physicists, software engineers, and the team to deliver production-ready FPGA designs.
