RTX's Collins Aerospace is seeking a motivated FPGA Electrical Engineer Intern to join the Applied Research and Technology Microelectronics Technology team. You will support RTL-based design, verification, and integration of ASIC/FPGA circuits for high-performance compute tasks.

You will learn Collins engineering processes, work with RTL coding in VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog, and collaborate with a skilled team on defense-grade solutions, under onsite conditions in Cedar Rapids, IA.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering and actively enrolled through the internship.
• Experience with RTL coding and simulation in VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog.

Responsibilities

• Support requirements capture and ASIC/FPGA digital architecture.
• Implement ASIC/FPGA digital design using RTL.
• Support verification and system integration of ASIC/FPGA implementations.
