Job summary

RTX in Goleta, CA is seeking a Production Worker S3 for the Focal Plane Array area. You will operate in a class 100 cleanroom, document processes, and follow strict procedures to build hardware. The role is onsite with a 1st shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) and requires U.S.

citizenship. Responsibilities include performing individual process steps, handling delicate components, and using travelers/electronic tracking for data.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 2 years of production experience in cleanroom fabrication, assembly, manufacturing or equivalent.
• Experience in MS Office (Excel).
• US Citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a Safety-First work environment.
• Operate in a class 100 cleanroom; wear bunny suit under yellow lights.
• Perform individual process steps on production hardware with accuracy.
• Follow written instructions and area protocols.
• Process Focal Plane Arrays (Hybridize, Wet Etch, Photomask, Fixturing, etc.) to build hardware.
• Handle fragile hardware and small parts during processing.
• Document data on travelers and in the electronic database.
