Job summary

RTX in Goleta, CA is seeking a Production Worker S4 (Production Specialist) for a 3rd shift, onsite role in a cleanroom environment. You will operate equipment, follow procedures, and document data while collaborating with leads and support teams to ensure quality hardware production of Focal Plane Arrays.

Must have 4+ years in cleanroom production with Excel proficiency; US citizenship is required for access to program materials. Onsite shift 10 PM to 6:30 AM in Goleta.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 4 years of production experience in cleanroom fabrication, assembly, manufacturing or equivalent.
• Experience in MS Office (Excel).
• US Citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Active participation in a Safety-First work environment.
• Work in a class 100 cleanroom in full bunny suit under yellow lights.
• Communicate effectively with peers, leads, support teams and management.
• Handle fragile hardware and small parts during processing.
• Follow written procedures and work instructions.
• Document data on travelers and in the electronic database.
• Perform advanced processing steps to build hardware (Focal Plane Arrays).
• Execute challenging technical assignments in the work cell.
• Multitask within the assigned work cell.
• Cross-train to improve area efficiency.
