Job summary

Free People Movement in New York City is seeking a Wholesale Intern for our Summer program. You will assist with customer service, order management, and cross‑functional collaboration to meet deadlines and elevate the wholesale business.

As part of the application, submit a Trend Concept Board (3–5 Fall 2027 fashion trends). The URBN internship runs 6/7–8/13 at the Philadelphia home office, includes paid opportunities and exposure to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated excellence in retail customer service and advocacy.
• Strong communicator: proactive, effective, and positive.
• Excellent team leadership, as measured by positive feedback from internal partners and customers.
• Professional and respectful with all internal teams and external customers.
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Fashion, Business, or a related field a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Enter orders timely and accurately to ensure orders are sent to the fulfillment center in time to meet the customer’s request.
• Complete Order Maintenance on open orders for existing and new accounts.
• Lead cross‑functional team communication with Credit, Customer Service, Transportation and Fulfillment Center in preparation for allocations.
• Manage flow of orders via allocations to Free People’s fulfillment centers in the US and UK.
• Assist with new account set ups and ensure all new accounts are set up accurately in our ERP and B2B systems.
• Support team members in other areas during heavy workflow periods such as end of month and order entry post wholesale shows.
• Other duties as assigned

Role Summary

Free People Movement is looking for a Wholesale Intern to join us for the Summer in New York City. The Wholesale Intern will help in providing exceptional customer service and be responsible for meeting deadlines, assisting with customer requests, and using flexible/creative approaches to improve business.

Role Responsibilities

Order Management

• Enter orders timely and accurately to ensure orders are sent to the fulfillment center in time to meet the customer’s request.
