Job summary
RTX is seeking an FP&A Specialist for the Advanced Spectrum Dominance finance team in the US. The role supports bookings/backlog, income statement, and balance sheet with financial analysis and reporting. You will coordinate with analysts, monitor variance, and assist with SRO risks, annual planning, and long-range planning.
You will also support balance sheet activities, IRAD/investment reporting, and respond to ad hoc requests while collaborating with finance leadership across portfolios.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or master’s with 3+ years.
- Experience with SAP Tool Suite including APEX, Analysis for Office and PRISM.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint for financial analysis and reporting.
- Experience in planning, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
Responsibilities
- Support financial reporting and analysis activities.
- Coordinate with financial analysts on reporting requirements and deadlines.
- Monitor variance analysis and reporting.
- Collaborate with finance managers and program leadership on planning.
- Update SRO Risks and Opportunities and monthly forecasts.
- Support AOP and LRP development.
- Support Balance Sheet activities and investment reporting (IRAD, Capital, NBI).
- Respond to ad hoc financial requests.
