Job summary

Under an Associate Director, the Senior Specialist will manage external alliance budgets, monthly close tasks, governance support, and partner communications, with a hybrid work model and potential exposure to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance/accounting, science or engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years of operations or finance experience.
• MBA, CPA or other Masters/PhD in business, finance, science or engineering.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to develop business operations models.
• The role requires strong financial acumen and proactive problem solving.
• Ability to influence and build client and peer relationships; strong communications.

Responsibilities

• Assist and provide support with assigned external Alliance partners.
• Serve as primary Company Finance contact with Global Project and Alliance Management, PDT Leaders, Alliance Managers and Third-Party Partners.
• Develop expense budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range operating plans.
• Perform monthly close tasks including journal entries, variance commentary, and spending trend analysis.
• Support governance interactions such as Late Development Review Committee and Joint Committees.
• Provide financial information to support project team decisions.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and internal/external accounting guidance; maintain Sarbanes-Oxley controls.
