Job summary

Surgery Partners seeks a Senior Director, Financial Planning & Analysis to lead the FP&A team and partner with senior leaders to strengthen enterprise planning, forecasting, and performance management. Reporting to the Group CFO, this role guides budgeting, analytics, and executive decision‑making across the organization.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in finance with FP&A leadership, advanced modeling, and experience with BI tools and healthcare environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of finance experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and financial analysis.
• 5+ years of experience managing staff.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills with pivot tables and data-query tools.
• Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) and financial consolidation systems.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate with senior leadership.
• Healthcare industry experience and knowledge of hospital/ambulatory services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish governance and strategy for enterprise FP&A.
• Partner with Operations, Development, and Corporate Finance to align performance and forecasts.
• Lead annual budgeting, target setting, consolidation, and executive presentations.
• Provide actionable insights from analyses to support timely decisions.
• Create management reports for profitability, segment metrics, and capital utilization.
• Develop and maintain FP&A tools and real-time analytics with BI systems.
• Lead staff development and drive efficiency across FP&A functions.
• Present financial results to senior management and guide strategy planning.
