Job summary

Caterpillar is seeking an FP&A Accountant in Peoria, IL to serve as a trusted finance business partner for the Global Marketing & Brand organization. You will provide financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and strategic analysis, collaborating with Demonstration & Learning Centers, Tradeshow & Events, and Industrial Design teams to drive informed decisions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
Experience in financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, accounting, business analysis, or related finance discipline.
Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis.
Experience analyzing financial performance and developing actionable business recommendations.
Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting systems.

Responsibilities

Lead forecasting, budgeting, and planning activities for assigned organization.
Develop financial forecasts and projections to support business planning.
Analyze actual results vs forecasts, identify drivers, risks, opportunities, and trends.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting activities.
Provide financial recommendations to business leaders based on performance.
