Job summary

Optimum in New York, NY is seeking a Manager of Finance for Subscriber Forecasting who will autonomously manage budgeting, monthly forecasting, and the month-end close while guiding business leaders to meet operational and subscriber goals.

The role reports to the VP of FP&A and requires strong analytical skills, 5+ years of experience, and advanced knowledge of Oracle, Hyperion, and Essbase. A Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance is required; a Master’s is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance; Master’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop annual budget and monthly forecast for subscriber disconnect activity.
• Coordinate month-end close and variance analysis with forecasting team.
• Provide analytics and brief leaders on outcomes vs plan and opportunities.
• Ensure effective information flow and consistent reporting across the organization.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflow and create efficiencies.
• Assist with special projects and ad-hoc analyses.
