Job summary

Thompson Hine LLP seeks an Manager of FP&A to join the Finance department in our offices across Atlanta, Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, or Minneapolis. You will drive financial analysis, forecasting, and profitability initiatives for the firm, partnering with the CFO and Practice Group Leaders to grow revenue and margins.

Qualifications

• B.S. or B.A. in Business or Accounting required.
• CPA or MBA preferred.
• Up to 10 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Experience preparing or interpreting financial statements.
• Experience analyzing financial trends and variances.
• Experience with analytical tools and large data sets (Excel, Tableau, Quantrix).
• Experience with PowerPoint and presenting content.

Responsibilities

• Lead business unit planning and performance analysis for practices and offices.
• Coordinate quarterly forecast timelines and deliverables with Finance.
• Prepare revenue and timekeeper compensation components for forecasts.
• Develop and manage BU planning goals reporting for all business units.
• Support M&A analyses and other firm initiatives.
• Create self-service finance tools and insights for management.
• Provide value-added insights beyond the finance department.
