Job summary

Preferred Travel Group is seeking a Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis in Newport Beach, CA. You will lead forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis to guide strategic and day-to-day decision making across the organization.

This role partners with senior leaders, develops dashboards, and communicates complex data clearly. A CPA or MBA and strong Excel/Power BI skills will help you drive improvements and deliver actionable insights.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, and/or accounting.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to learn additional software.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and corporate finance.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to translate data into insights.
• Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee annual budget and quarterly rolling forecast processes.
• Prepare month-end financial reporting and variance analyses.
• Lead Board and leadership meeting presentations.
• Collaborate with departments to provide timely financial insights.
• Support ad hoc modeling and special projects.
• Develop and maintain financial reporting dashboards using data warehouse tools.
• Partner with Accounting and IT to drive process improvements and automation.
