Job summary

Luminis Health is seeking a Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis to lead budgeting, financial analysis, and strategic initiatives. This role collaborates with the VP of FP&A to influence system-wide financial health and operational efficiency, guiding a team and ensuring accurate reporting.

Responsibilities include preparing budgets, analyzing results, presenting to senior leadership, and driving cost optimization across departments. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required; MBA/CPA preferred.
• Eight years of related work experience, including budget development, business planning creation, monthly financial statement review, productivity/efficiency measurement, and staff management.
• Strong knowledge of computer software programs; excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and coordination of capital and operating budgets.
• Review monthly financial results and communicate areas of improvement and risks to operational leaders.
• Analyze monthly financial results for accuracy and present forecasts to senior leadership.
• Prepare regular financial reports and KPI presentations for senior leadership.
• Recommend operational improvements aligning financial goals with operational plans.
• Oversee cost accounting system maintenance and productivity analysis.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to create and evaluate business cases and cost optimization initiatives.
• Supervise FP&A staff, provide guidance and development opportunities, and conduct performance reviews.
• Document subordinate performance and develop goals and action plans; coach as needed.
• Foster accountability and continuous improvement within the FP&A function.

Education
