Job summary

Lumentum is seeking an FP&A Manager in Wayne, CA to act as a strategic finance partner for executive leadership and functional leaders. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting, driving continuous improvement of FP&A operations.

You will collaborate with the CEO, CFO, and senior teams to optimize planning accuracy, financial controls, and performance analysis, while enabling scalable reporting and data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of FP&A, corporate finance, or related experience in high-tech or public company.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present financial information clearly.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• High integrity and discretion with confidential information.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including financial modeling and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the C-suite and senior leadership to support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Lead annual budgeting, long-range planning, and periodic forecasting processes.
• Review requisitions, headcount requests, and capex to align with budgets and priorities.
• Lead month-end close and variance explanations to partners and exec management.
• Prepare selected financial analyses and balance sheet flux analyses for external auditors.
• Lead monthly financial review meetings with partners and executive leadership.
• Identify opportunities to streamline FP&A processes, reporting, and controls.
• Establish FP&A best practices, standardized procedures, and scalable reporting.
• Leverage financial systems to improve data accuracy and planning efficiency.
• Support ad hoc analyses, strategic initiatives, and M&A-related projects.
