Job summary

Great River Group is seeking an FP&A Manager in Detroit, MI to build the FP&A capability across the geotechnical engineering platform. You will own data, reporting, forecasting, and scalable processes in a true 0-to-1 role, located in a operating company environment.

You’ll partner with controllers, build financial models, and drive governance across entities while shaping the platform’s budgeting and scenario analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or related field.
• 8–10+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience in a company setting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP close processes and internal controls.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with modern ERP/reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-entity data aggregation to form a unified holding-company view.
• Build and maintain consolidated P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and KPI reporting.
• Standardize COA, reporting cadence, and data definitions across entities.
