CookUnity is seeking a Growth Finance Manager to partner with Growth teams (Marketing, Brand, Product) and drive financial planning, forecasting, and strategic decision‑making. You will own CAC/LTV metrics, build performance dashboards, and guide investment analyses to optimize growth and profitability.

The role leads finance processes built for a fast‑growing platform that connects world‑class chefs with homes nationwide. MBA or strong FP&A background favored for this leadership position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or operations.
• 5–8 years of finance experience with growth/multi‑channel exposure.
• Advanced financial modeling skills and experience building models from scratch.
• Experience with FP&A modeling tools and strong accounting knowledge.
• Excellent communication and cross‑functional influence skills.

Responsibilities

• Own Growth financial planning and forecasting for marketing, product, and growth initiatives.
• Lead performance reporting with dashboards and regular business reviews.

The Role

The Growth Finance Manager will be a leader in our growing Finance team and serve as the key finance business partner to the Growth organization, comprising Marketing, Brand, and Product teams. The role involves providing financial insights, developing forecasts, and supporting strategic decision‑making. Responsibilities include driving performance reviews, marketing investment analysis, and product innovation analysis, setting ambitious goals, analyzing performance, and leading decision‑making to keep the organization on track. This is an influential finance leadership role that establishes effective new processes tailored to CookUnity’s needs.

Responsibilities

• Own financial planning for Growth: build and maintain forecasts and targets that account for marketing efficiency, new product performance, and business objectives, translating Growth leaders’ plans into the financial plan.
• Lead performance reporting: build dashboards and tools to track operational/financial performance vs. plan, and own weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews.
• Own the CAC forecasting model across all paid channels (efficiency curves, elasticity, seasonality), and run attribution analysis to explain blended CAC movements.
• Maintain LTV, CAC, and payback economics by channel, market, and cohort to flag where unit economics are strengthening or compressing.
• Build and own the capital allocation framework guiding marketing spend across acquisition, reactivation, and retention, grounded in marginal return analysis.
• Develop and evaluate business cases for marketing investments, new initiatives, and new products, including retention/promo economics and campaign ROI vs. contribution margin.
• Partner with Marketing, Data, and Accounting to maintain reliable data infrastructure for marketing finance, and drive cross‑functional process improvements.
• Identify financial risks tied to growth activities and ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or operations; MBA preferred.
• 5–8 years of experience in finance roles of increasing responsibility, ideally a combination of large company and startup experience.
• Advanced financial modeling skills, including building complex financial models from the ground up.
• Experience with FP&A modeling tools.
• Functional knowledge of accounting concepts and internal controls.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and influence skills to drive cross‑functional initiatives involving employees across the organization.
• Ability to problem‑solve, strong time‑management skills, and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail with big‑picture orientation—capable of interpreting findings and communicating actionable insights.
• Unfazed by the challenges of developing systems and processes from scratch.
• Ability to leverage generative AI to increase output quality and speed.

Compensation

All final pay rates will be determined by a candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, internal equity, and market data. Pay range for this position: $135,000—$175,000 USD.
