Job summary

Summit Drilling seeks an accomplished Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis to architect and operate the company’s FP&A capabilities. You’ll own budgeting, forecasting, and analytics, building scalable models for a high-growth private-equity portfolio company.

In this hands-on role, you’ll drive AI-enabled forecasting, partner with Accounting for GAAP alignment, and deliver concise financial narratives to executives and the board. Location options include Charlotte, Tampa, or Bridgewater, NJ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive finance experience with FP&A responsibility.
• Public accounting experience, Big 4 preferred.
• Proven ability to build financial models, forecasts, and planning processes.
• Direct experience using AI tools to support forecasting or analysis.
• Analytical mindset with strong ability to explain variances clearly.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and own FP&A infrastructure including budgeting, rolling forecasts, long-range planning, and management reporting.
• Develop driver-based, scalable financial models to support growth and new products.
• Lead forecasting and analysis across revenue, costs, headcount, cash flow, and operational drivers.
• Apply AI and automation to forecasting workflows and improve forecast accuracy.
• Provide clear financial narratives for leadership and board reporting.
