Job summary

Codex is seeking a Manager, FP&A to join its North America Finance team in Houston. You will partner with senior leaders to turn financial analysis into actionable business insight and drive modernization of reporting and planning tools.

The role appeals to someone commercially minded, comfortable moving quickly, and eager to automate financial processes using AI and advanced analytics. 6–10 years in FP&A and strong Excel are required.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years' experience in FP&A, strategic finance or a related field.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, and Planful.
• Proactive, hands-on approach with automation focus.
• Comfort with AI tools to speed up analysis and data quality.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into insight.
• Confident communicator, able to operate autonomously with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior stakeholders translating financial analysis into practical operational recommendations.
• Build cross-functional relationships and understand unit economics, product strategy and competitive landscape.
• Deliver management reporting and performance analysis against budget, forecast and prior year.
• Carry out margin and revenue analysis to identify trends and profitability drivers.
• Work with Resourcing Manager to assess utilization, capacity and account-level profitability.
• Drive improvements to financial systems and planning tools (Planful) and support automation and AI-led improvements.
• Act as trusted commercial partner across Finance and the wider business.

• Carry out detailed margin and revenue analysis to identify trends and profitability drivers
• Work with the Resourcing Manager to assess utilization, capacity and account-level profitability
• Drive improvements to financial systems and planning tools (such as Planful), and support automation and AI-led process improvements
• Act as a trusted commercial partner across Finance and the wider business, contributing to the team's continuous improvement

Requirements:

• 6-10 years' experience in FP&A, strategic finance or a related field
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
• Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, and ideally Planful
• A proactive, hands-on approach, with genuine interest in automating and improving reporting processes rather than just producing them
• Comfortable applying AI tools (such as Copilot or ChatGPT/Claude) to speed up analysis and improve data quality
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate detailed data into clear, decision-useful insight
• Confident communicator, self-motivated and comfortable operating autonomously with senior stakeholders
