Job description

As a Manager of FP&A, you will partner closely with leaders across Molex's Transportation & Industrial Solutions (TIS) Division to guide planning, forecasting, and strategic decision-making during an exciting period of growth and organizational evolution. You'll develop a broad understanding of the business, connecting financial and operational insights across multiple segments while helping leaders navigate complex opportunities, risks, and market dynamics such as tariffs, portfolio shifts, and changing customer demand. In addition to supporting a key business unit, you'll play an important role in advancing AI-enabled FP&A capabilities and driving initiatives that improve how decisions are made across the division. This role offers significant visibility and a path to broader leadership opportunities as you expand your impact across the organization.

Our Team

Our team serves as a trusted partner to TIS leadership, providing the financial insights, planning expertise, and strategic perspective needed to support long-term value creation. We are building additional capability to help leaders evaluate priorities, allocate resources, and execute with confidence across a growing and increasingly complex business. We collaborate across business units, functions, and geographies, balancing deep business knowledge with a broad enterprise perspective. If you enjoy learning new areas of the business, influencing decisions, and helping shape the future of finance, you'll find meaningful opportunities to grow here.

What You Will Do
  • Lead the annual planning process, five-year strategic forecast, and ongoing driver-based forecasting activities for the Transportation & Industrial Solutions (TIS) Division.
  • Partner with business and functional leaders to align assumptions, key business drivers, and strategic priorities into an integrated financial outlook.
  • Develop actionable insights and recommendations by analyzing financial performance, operational results, risks, and emerging opportunities.
  • Build a deep understanding of the division's P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, working capital, and return-on-capital drivers.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership by connecting operational decisions and market dynamics to financial outcomes.
  • Prepare and present concise, executive-ready reporting that highlights performance trends, key drivers, risks, opportunities, and decision points.
  • Support business leaders with scenario modeling, investment analysis, and strategic decision-making.
  • Help shape and accelerate the FP&A organization's AI-enabled transformation by identifying opportunities to improve processes, insights, and decision quality.
  • Partner with technology and solution teams to develop, implement, and scale new financial planning and reporting capabilities.
  • Drive continuous improvement by enhancing forecasting accuracy, governance, data quality, and reporting efficiency.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships and influence outcomes across finance, operations, commercial, and business leadership teams.
  • Coach and develop finance talent while fostering a culture of curiosity, business partnership, and continuous learning.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting or a closely related field.
  • Progressive experience in FP&A, accounting, or related analytical discipline.
  • Advanced financial modeling, analytical, problem-solving, and ability to translate complex information into clear recommendations for senior leaders.
What Will Put You Ahead
  • Experience within a global manufacturing organization.
  • Proficiency with SAP, OneStream, Snowflake (including Cortex and Streamlit) or similar platforms.
  • Success leading cross-functional initiatives and developing finance professionals.
