Job summary

Valar Atomics is seeking an experienced FP&A Manager to lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling at scale. You will own planning processes, build an integrated operating model, and partner with senior leaders to drive strategy and allocate resources in a fast-growing company.

You will deliver monthly and board-level reporting, develop KPIs and dashboards, and lead headcount planning and cash-flow forecasting to support fundraising and capital planning.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of FP&A, investment banking, consulting, or related roles with progressive ownership.
• Expert financial modeling skills and advanced Excel.
• Experience building budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting cycles.
• Ability to produce executive and board-ready materials under tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with cross-level partnership.
• Capable of operating in a fast-moving environment with incomplete information.

Responsibilities

• Own budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning end-to-end.
• Build and maintain the consolidated operating model across departments.
• Lead monthly and quarterly forecasting cycles with department leaders.
• Deliver board-level reporting and communicate performance, risks, and opportunities.
• Drive budget vs. actual analysis and accountability.
• Develop KPIs and dashboards for leadership visibility.
• Lead headcount planning and company-wide spend management.
• Build cash-flow forecasts to support fundraising and capital planning.
• Collaborate with Accounting to align actuals, plan, and reporting.
• Develop FP&A systems, processes, and tools to scale the function.
• Prepare materials to support fundraising and investor relations.
