Job summary

Parallax Space, Inc. is seeking a commercially minded FP&A Manager to own recurring management reporting, budgeting, rolling forecasts, cash and liquidity planning, and program-level financial performance.

You will connect accounting, CRM, manufacturing and program data into decision-ready reporting for executive leadership and the Board. The role requires producing board-ready narratives, leading the budgeting process, and developing KPI definitions while partnering with cross-functional teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field; CPA, CFA or MBA is a plus.
• Approximately 6-10 years of FP&A, financial modeling, management reporting or program finance experience.
• Advanced Excel and three-statement modeling skills; ability to produce executive-ready packages and explain variances.
• Experience with budgeting, rolling forecasts, cash flow, gross margin and KPI design.
• Ability to reconcile data across systems and communicate with non-finance leaders.
• Ability to lead FP&A calendar and present to CFO and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver monthly management reporting and quarterly scorecards.
• Deliver consolidated P&L analysis and explain variances.
• Prepare Board-ready narratives on drivers, risks, and capital needs.
• Maintain KPI definitions, reconciliations, calendars and dashboards.
• Lead annual budget and rolling forecast for revenue, margin, cash flow.
• Develop scenario analyses for ramp, hiring, pricing, and funding needs.
• Track bookings, backlog, revenue recognition, and book-to-bill by line.
• Maintain program scorecards with COGS, ETC, EAC and margin.
• Prepare cash forecasts and liquidity outlook; monitor capex and financing commitments.
• Automate dashboards from ERP/CRM and support monthly close with analytic reviews.
• Support ad hoc CFO analyses, due diligence and strategic initiatives.
