Job summary

Iberdrola SA is seeking a Lead Analyst in Portland, ME to own analytics and reporting for financial planning and forecasting. You will drive annual budgeting, quarterly forecasts, and performance analyses for management and main shareholders, focusing on the income statement, balance sheet, cash flow, and KPI variances.

The role requires deep Excel skills and hands-on experience with SAP/BPC, Power BI, and data analytics tools.

Qualifications

5+ years’ experience in finance/accounting in a relevant industry.
Advanced Excel and data analytics tooling experience.
SAP and BPC experience preferred.
US GAAP/IFRS knowledge and financial statements familiarity.

Responsibilities

Prepare Avangrid consolidated annual budget and quarterly forecasts with analyses for management and shareholders.
Provide monthly variance analyses with explanations of income statement, balance sheet, cash flow and KPI variances.
Budgeting/forecasting for Corporate segments, finance income/cost, depreciation, tax and personnel costs.
Manage loading and integrity of reporting tools (BPC) and reconciliation to SAP ledger.
Automate reports and support ad-hoc information requests.
