Job summary

Seaboard Energy is seeking a motivated FP&A Intern in Merriam, Kansas to support forecasting, reporting, and analysis. You will gain hands-on exposure to corporate finance, including operating expense, SG&A tracking, and dashboard development.

You will work with the FP&A team, build dashboards in Excel and Power BI, and collaborate with Operations, Accounting, Procurement, Sales, and Logistics to understand drivers.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a master's degree in a related field.
• Foundational understanding of financial statements.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly reporting, forecast updates, and budget prep for Opex, SG&A, and capital.
• Support variance analysis and driver explanations.
• Build and enhance dashboards and KPIs in Excel and Power BI.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Accounting, Procurement, Sales, and Logistics.
• Assist with capital project tracking and basic ROI analysis.
• Maintain data integrity across financial models and reporting tools.
