Methode Electronics is seeking a highly motivated Finance Intern – FP&A to support our financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and strategic analysis activities. This internship offers hands-on experience with financial models, budgets, and executive-level reporting within a global manufacturing organization.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, with strong analytical and communication skills, pursuing a degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business analytics, and eager to develop

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Analytics.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with ability to interpret data.
• Understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Experience with Excel and data visualization tools is a plus.
• Experience with AI-powered tools for data analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in financial models, forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans.
• Support close processes with variance analysis and reporting.
• Analyze revenue, expenses, profitability and drivers.
• Prepare management reports, dashboards, and executive summaries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reporting.
• Research market trends to support planning.
