Job summary

Mercor in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Domain Expert – FP&A (Financial Forecaster) to QA AI-assisted forecast outputs and ensure alignment with model guidance and disclosed packs.

You will review agent runs, verify scenario, account, and coordinate accuracy, and identify gaps or misapplications in forecasting logic. You will help improve realism and grading for final assessments.

Strong FP&A background and experience with reading models, assumptions, and variance notes are required.

Qualifications

• Regular use of Financial Forecaster in weekly or more.
• 5+ years of FP&A experience in a relevant role.
• Ability to read models, packs, and coordinates across dimensions.

Responsibilities

• Review and QA AI-agent rollouts: evaluate against model and documents.
• Identify failure modes: flag easy or incorrect task outcomes.
• Improve realism and difficulty: refine prompts and seeds for fidelity.
• Update grading guidance: sharpen accuracy criteria for grading.
• Catch plausible-but-wrong answers that look right but are flawed.
