Job summary

Shawmut Design and Construction seeks a Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst to join its Corporate Finance team. The role blends FP&A expertise with financial systems, dashboards, data integration, and AI-enabled automation.

The ideal candidate will prepare reports, build dashboards, improve workflows, and support data-driven decisions across the organization, leveraging Excel and BI tools in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of FP&A, financial analysis, or related finance experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
• Strong Excel skills with advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Knowledge of SQL and data visualization tools.
• Experience with ERP/EPM/BI systems and data flows.
• Experience with Hyperion/Board/FMW is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and interpret financial reports, forecasts, and budgets.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and data visualizations for stakeholders.
• Support system integrations and improve data flows and reporting.
• Identify AI-enabled automation opportunities to streamline FP&A processes.
• Design, build, and maintain dashboards and self-service analytics.
• Collaborate with IT and accounting to improve data connectivity.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data through validation.
• Support system upgrades, integrations, and user training.
• Advance financial modeling, analytics, and reporting capabilities.
• Assist budgeting and forecasting reports with timely submissions.
