Audax Group is seeking a motivated Co-op to support finance operations, process improvement, and data initiatives within a private equity setting. The role sits in a fast-paced environment and requires collaboration across Accounting, FP&A, and Tax teams to improve reporting and data readiness.

The position emphasizes meticulous data handling, process documentation, and communication with senior leadership, with in-office requirements of 3–4 days per week in Massachusetts.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or another analytical field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
• High attention to detail and sound judgment when working with data across multiple systems and files.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for senior leadership.
• Demonstrated interest in process improvement, data structuring, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own the build-out of streamlined expense reporting processes from the ground up.
• Transform how expense reports are presented and formatted for clarity.
• Develop and implement a robust data structure to support automated reporting.
• Coordinate with Finance teams to develop integrated datasets for forecasting and tax analysis.
• Document key interdependencies across Accounting, FP&A and Tax processes.
