Job summary

FTI Consulting is seeking a Senior Consultant to collaborate with internal teams and support client engagements, focusing on CFO advisory services. You will develop financial models, reports, and processes while building strong client relationships.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in financial consulting or related roles, strong Excel skills, and the ability to travel to client sites and FT I offices as needed. CPA/CFA/MBA credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or Masters’ degree in a Business related major or Economics.
• 3+ years of experience in financial consulting or advisory, or in a Corporate rotational program focused on developing financial leaders, or in execution or leadership roles in an industry finance, accounting or FP&A function.
• Experience as an external (or internal) consultant with experience in FP&A, Accounting & Financial Reporting, Finance Transformation, Finance Technology, and/or Cash, Cost, and Capital.
• Ability to synthesize and advise on complex financial concepts and translate to actionable recommendations.
• Expertise with Microsoft Excel and ability to develop financial models with minimal oversight.
• Ability to travel to client sites and FTI offices as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge management tools, methodologies, reports, models, work plans, checklists and processes.
• Perform high quality client work and build CFO advisory relationships.
• Assist internal practice development and marketing, including materials and case studies.
• Lead engagement work streams and projects with limited oversight.
• Coach and train junior team members.
