Job summary

Sims Crane & Equipment in Tampa, FL is seeking an FP&A Analyst to provide financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting across the organization. You will partner with accounting leadership to translate data into insights using Power BI, Excel, and ERP systems, supporting decision-making and performance management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics/Business Analytics or related field
• 3–5 years of FP&A, accounting, or related analytics experience
• Strong Power BI and Excel skills with advanced financial modeling
• Experience reading and interpreting financial statements and GL activity
• Ability to learn ERP, reporting, and data systems and work with large datasets
• Effective communication of analysis to non-financial stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
• Develop and maintain financial models and tools to analyze revenue, profitability, and operating costs
• Monitor financial performance and trends to aid forecasting and management decisions
• Identify risks, opportunities, and recommendations for leadership
• Assist with monthly/quarterly/annual financial reporting and close processes
• Create and maintain dashboards and reports for leadership and departments
• Ensure data integrity and reconcile discrepancies across systems
