Job summary

Sims Crane & Equipment is seeking an FP&A Analyst to join our Tampa team. You will develop financial models, dashboards and reports using Power BI and Excel to support budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis.

The successful candidate will translate complex data into actionable insights for leadership, collaborate across accounting, operations and finance, and help drive strategic decision‑making with strong analytical skills and ERP experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Analytics or related field.
3–5 years of FP&A, accounting, or financial analysis experience.
Experience with budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
Experience using BI, reporting, ERP, or accounting systems.
Ability to communicate analysis to non-financial stakeholders.
Authorized to work in the United States and proficient in English.

Responsibilities

Support annual budgeting, forecasting and long‑range planning.
Develop and maintain financial models and analytic tools for revenue, cost and profitability.
Monitor performance and trends to support planning and decision‑making.
Identify risks and opportunities and provide leadership with recommendations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
Analyze data to support close, reporting, budgeting and forecasting processes.
Create dashboards and recurring reports showing ledger activity, cash flow and capex.
Investigate variances and provide explanations to leadership.
Collaborate with accounting, operations and executive teams to deliver insights.
