Job summary

Goosehead Insurance in Westlake, Texas is seeking an FP&A Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting across the company. You will partner cross-functionally to deliver insights, maintain financial models, and enhance planning tools and processes.

This hands-on role requires proactive problem-solving and a strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate will bring 3–5 years in FP&A or related roles, exceptional modeling, and fluency with SQL, Excel, and BI tools such as Power BI or

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 3 - 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis or related roles.
• Strong financial modeling and Excel skills required.
• Proficiency in SQL and data warehouses to extract/analyze data.
• Experience with BI/reporting tools (Power BI/Tableau).
• Experience in high-growth, multi-location environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support development, maintenance, and enhancement of forecasts, budgets, and long-term plans.
• Perform financial modeling and scenario analysis to evaluate performance, trends, and risks.
• Conduct variance analysis vs. budgets/forecasts and explain drivers.
• Prepare recurring and ad-hoc financial reports and dashboards for management.
• Partner with leaders to provide analytical support and ensure financial alignment.
• Improve forecasting models, planning tools, and processes for accuracy and efficiency.
• Support annual planning cycle and monthly forecast updates across departments.
• Collaborate with accounting and operations to ensure data integrity.
• Provide financial support for strategic initiatives and investment analyses.
• Develop subject-matter expertise in key financial drivers and systems.
