Job summary

Goosehead Insurance in Texas is seeking a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to lead company-wide budgeting, forecasting, and performance management. You will partner with executives and functional leaders to deliver actionable insights and scalable FP&A processes that support growth.

The role requires 10+ years in FP&A or related fields, an MBA preferred, advanced Excel, and experience with SQL and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).

Qualifications

• 10+ years in financial planning & analysis or related roles.
• MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience building and leading FP&A teams.
• Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Advanced Excel skills required.
• Proficiency in SQL and working with large datasets.
• Experience with BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau).

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise-wide financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.
• Partner with executives to align financial plans with strategy.
• Lead performance analysis and deliver timely, decision-ready reporting.
• Develop and mentor FP&A managers and analysts; drive team development.
