Job summary

Security 101 is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to support the Director of FP&A in driving financial performance and strategic planning. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and BI reporting while mentoring a junior analyst.

The role emphasizes cross-functional partnership, data-driven decision making, and continuous improvement within FP&A to deliver actionable insights for executives and business leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
• 5+ years FP&A, financial analysis, or corporate finance experience.
• Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and major financial systems (ERP/planing).
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Ability to translate data into concise insights for executives.
• Strong partnering and presentation with stakeholders and leadership.
• Demonstrated leadership or mentoring experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, coordination, and maintenance of the annual operating budget and rolling forecasts.
• Partner with department leaders to evaluate assumptions, identify risks and opportunities, and improve forecast accuracy.
• Support long-range financial planning and scenario modeling to guide strategic decision making.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior-year results.
• Utilize BI platforms to develop dashboards and automate reporting for executives and partners.
• Develop financial models, ROI analyses, and business cases for strategic projects and investments.
• Mentor a Junior Analyst and drive FP&A process improvements.
