Job summary

Roers Companies in Plymouth, Minnesota is seeking an FP&A Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, reporting, analytics, and business intelligence for the operating real estate portfolio. You will gather, validate, and analyze property information to provide timely and accurate data for decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Real Estate, Mathematics, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 0–2 years of FP&A, asset management, real estate finance, investments, consulting, or related analytical field; internships considered.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience organizing and working with large data sets or building schedules/reports from raw data.
• Ability to communicate information clearly in writing and verbally.
• Multifamily real estate experience and exposure to budgeting, forecasting, reporting, data, or BI processes are preferred.
• Exposure to Power BI, SQL, or planning systems such as Pigment, Vena, Anaplan, or Adaptive is preferred.
• Exposure to Yardi, RealPage, MRI, or similar platforms is preferred.
• Progress toward CFA, CPA, ARGUS, CCIM, or similar credentials is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analytical Support: Prepare accurate, well-organized analysis and supporting schedules for recurring deliverables.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist with annual property budgeting and ongoing forecasting across the operating portfolio.
• Reporting, Business Intelligence, and Analytics: Prepare and distribute recurring property and portfolio reporting; build dashboards using Power BI, Pigment, Excel.
• Systems, Data, and Process Improvement: Maintain data integrity; develop proficiency in Yardi, Pigment, Power BI; identify automation opportunities.
• Cross-Functional Partnership: Support Asset Management, Property Management, Accounting, and Investor Relations with data and analytics.
