Carmel Partners, a leading real estate investment manager, seeks an Analyst, FP&A (Fund Management) in our New York Office. The role supports fund performance, liquidity, valuations and investor deliverables, working with data across the Firm to analyze returns, capital calls and distributions.

The ideal candidate has strong quantitative and financial modeling skills, excels in Excel, communicates clearly and collaborates across teams; experience in real estate investment management is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field; CPA helpful.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in real estate investment management or FP&A.
• Strong financial modeling and Excel proficiency; familiarity with BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Support maintenance of fund-level liquidity, valuation and performance models.
• Assist quarterly asset valuations and investor reporting materials.
• Analyze projected returns and variances on a quarterly basis.
• Maintain capital calls, distributions and subscription line tracking.
• Support investor relations with due diligence and information requests.
• Prepare performance reporting and BI/DB improvement initiatives.
• Complete ad hoc analyses and cross-functional projects for FP&A.
