Job summary

MP Materials Corp. is seeking an Analyst, FP&A to join the Accounting & Finance team in Las Vegas, NV. You will develop and maintain financial reporting, support forecasting, budgeting, and provide actionable insights to leadership.

Responsibilities include consolidating inputs, building financial models, partnering with operations on cost center management, headcount planning, and capital budgeting, and delivering Power BI dashboards and SQL-based analyses to improve decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with focus in finance, accounting, math, or economics is preferred.
• 3+ years of work experience in manufacturing or public company experience is desired.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and operational drivers.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with SAP and OneStream is a plus; Power BI and SQL experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting and budgeting processes.
• Partner with Operations and leaders on cost center management, headcount planning, and capital budgeting.
• Analyze actuals, forecast, and budget results; communicate insights to management.
• Develop and maintain Power BI reports and financial data models.
• Leverage SQL and data tools to extract and analyze data for reporting efficiency.
• Monitor capital projects against budgets and perform ad hoc analyses.
• Support FP&A process improvements and data controls.
