Job summary

Northern Trust in Chicago is seeking the Analyst, Global Technology Services (GTS) Finance, to deliver financial insights, strategic analysis, and reporting that support decision‑making across the technology organization.

You will partner with Technology and Finance leaders to analyze performance, develop actionable recommendations, and deliver dashboards and self‑service analytics using Power BI to enhance insights and decision‑making. This role offers a balanced hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Broad financial and accounting knowledge and business acumen.
• Requires strong presentation, and oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively and build relationships across a matrix structure and with a diverse management team.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial analysis, recommendations, and decision support for Technology and Finance leaders.
• Lead and support reporting, forecasting, budgeting, financial modeling, and special projects.
• Analyze spending trends, identify risks and opportunities, and develop actionable insights for management.
• Prepare and deliver executive-level financial reporting, dashboards, and presentations.
• Contribute to special projects including business cases, investment analyses, and productivity opportunities.
• Support the Power BI environment: maintain dashboards, develop new reports and data models.
