Job summary

TIG is seeking a Financial Analyst in Vernon Hills, IL to support financial planning, analysis, and business intelligence. The role focuses on transforming data from ERP and operational systems into trusted information, building financial models, dashboards, and actionable insights.

The candidate will work across FP&A, accounting, data analytics, and finance systems, contributing to growth, acquisitions, and strategic decision-making with advanced Excel and ERP experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 2 years in FP&A or financial analysis roles.
• Experience with multiple ERP systems is preferred.
• Experience building dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Advanced Excel skills including Power Query.
• SQL knowledge to extract/validate data.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses to support business decisions and leadership requests.
• Analyze performance, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Support annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and long-term planning.
• Develop ROI analyses for investments and initiatives.
• Design scalable models combining financial and operational data.
